Sleeping six in comfort. The Drey offers dramatic views towards the peaks of Ben Alder and Craig Meagaidh. It’s a superb base for exploring the many attractions in The Cairngorm National Park. Its ideal for outdoor activities such as walking, cycling and snowsports.

It has great facilities, including a fantastic en-suite wetroom, woodburning stove and underfloor heating make it a comfortable place to relax, especially after a day walking with your dog or visiting local attractions. Full of character and style, its the perfect base for a family holiday in summer or winter is the majestic part of the Scottish Highlands.

The Drey offers dramatic views towards the peaks of Ben Alder and Craig Meagaidh. It’s a superb base for exploring the many attractions in The Cairngorm National Park.There a number of fantastic walks in the area from low level forest walks to serious hillwalking.

Bearing in mind Scotland’s sometimes fickle weather conditions, Laggan can be a good bet as it offers a choice between the playgrounds of the Cairngorms or the west, or Nevis range or Craig Meagaidh in the west, as both can both be easily reached from The Drey. The Laggan Wolf Trax mountain biking trails are nearby and offer some world class trails, especially for experienced mountain bikers.

Perfect Days

Explore the superb and free Highland Fold Museum in Newtonmore.

Take a walk on the wild side up the Corrieyairack pass, a wonderful remote highland landscape.

Take your dog for a nice long walk along the beach at Loch Morlich or explore the forest trails at Glenmore near Aviemore.

Take a walk from Glenmore up to see the famous Green Lochan or even explore the bothy.

Go Munro bagging and climb some of the big Cairngorm peaks, such as Ben Macdui and Cairngorm.

Head west and enjoy a day walking on Craig Meagaidh or Glen Nevis in the shadow of the mighty Ben, Britain’s highest peak.

Explore the wildcat trails in Newtonmore or go on a bike ride on one of the local bike trails or go mountain biking at the Laggan Wolftrax.
